The Labour Creditor's Rights Protection Fund (hereinafter referred to as "Fund") of the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region was established by Law No. 10/2015 "Labour Creditor's Rights Protection System" and is a public legal entity endowed with administrative, financial and assets management autonomy, under the supervision of the Secretary for Economy and Finance, and supported, technically and administratively, by the Labour Affairs Bureau.
Purpose
The Fund aims to provide workers and family members of workers who died due to work accidents or occupational diseases the protection set out in the above law, and to ensure the payment of labour claims when debtors fail to fulfil their obligations.
